it is alright to not be alright.
it is alright to take the time to take care of yourself.
it is alright to put yourself first.
it is alright to feel.

ALL THE RESOURCES I’VE EVER REBLOGGED

fairysharkmother:

You are loved.

You are special.

The world would not be the same without you in it.

You are valued.

You are important.

You are noticed.

You are not invisible.

You do not deserve to hurt.

You do not deserve to suffer.

Take care of yourself tonight/today. Put down the blade. Put away whatever you are craving to harm yourself with. Go take a hot bath. Go read a book. Turn on netflix and watch your favorite show. Go on stumbleupon and find all kinds of cool stuff. Send a text to a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while. Color or draw. Finish that project you have been putting off.

Make a bucket list. Go to a travel blog and look at pretty pictures. Make a list of all the beautiful places you want to see in person.

Get through today. Leave yesterday alone. We will deal with tomorrow when it comes. Today, remember that the world would not be the same without you in it. Remember that you are loved. Remember that you are valued.
